Hello readers!
First, thank you for checking out the previous case study, hope you all had a laugh and learned something at the same time. There were many suggestions that were given on different things to test. One in particular was that many readers thought that EA was not a reputable brand (anymore). So, I wondered, “could a company’s reputation have a negative effect on one’s ads?” Meaning, as advertisers, should we look into the reputations of the products we promote? Sounds like a no-brainer but many affiliates I’ve talked to have never signed into (or Google’d) the product they’re advertising. So here are the ads for the new case study:
With EA logo:
Microsoft Paint influence:
Microsoft Paint Influence w/ EA
Would you like to make your predictions now?
Ben

Im the same MS Paint no logo blue car. I woudl have thought EA was a famous and reputable brand that would help with the ad. Then again Im not a regular gamer. Let the market speak.

Possible but going to take a long time to accrue enough data. That’ll probably be the next blog post after I do the CTR’s for these ads

I go for the Microsoft Paint Influence w/ EA, yellow while/yellow car because it’s the most eye catching. I’m curious what the results will be

I think the best CTR will be for Microsoft Paint Influence w/ EA. Will capture the attention and the ‘EA’ will secure the click from the user

You can’t compare those. The message “PLAY FREE” is much more prominent on the paint ones…
I suppose this short message in combination with the well known logo of the game and the car will win. The “classic” Ads are way too crammed – sorry, they don’t look professional either.

I’d like to guess that in countries where the driver is on the left side of the road, in the right side of the car, the yellow car would be more prominent, whereas on in countries where the driver is on the right side of the road in the left side of the car, the blue car would be attention-grabbing.
Also, EA logo and MS Paint.

I am suggesting the blue car with EA logo because user always finds it more authentic instead of non having EA logo and all other cars not getting any attention.
