Mike from nDemand was nice enough to invite me to their annual meetup! If you didn’t know, they’re a network that takes their top affiliates to some place WARM during the winter time. This year’s destination was the Bahamas! In contrast to the big crazy conferences, this was an intimate meetup with a group of guys who were all the best at what they do. The meetup started with a boat ride on a Catamaran where we all got settled in and got to know one another.
Then the captain drove us to a spot where we could go snorkeling. This was my first time going snorkeling and it was a ton of fun! But, have you ever tried to swim against a strong current? Here’s a picture of Seth that sums up the experience LOL:
We had lunch and then they took us to a PRIVATE ISLAND where they had a beach volleyball court set up.

After we all had time to shower and what not, dinner was served!
I ordered the tiger prawns as an appy and holy crap, they don’t mess around with the size of their prawns in the bahamas. This sucker was as big as my fork!

There’s currently a vote up for which destination to head to in 2013 (Hawaii vs. Dominican Republic vs Puerto Rico) but Mike promises a bigger and better meetup.

wonderful pictures, and great for nDemand. I did the same thing for myself, but instead of vacationing, I moved to Fort Lauderdale Florida. I don’t see why a lot of affiliate who can earn money from any where choose to live in cold and expensive locations.
All of my work was done from the computer, so as long as i had internet access I’m good. So I moved from Cold expensive DC to warm and dirt cheap Fort Lauderdale. My money goes way further “Rent in dc $1000+ rent in Fort Lauderdale $500″. I’m in a warm climate 80F degree today vs freezing cold in DC, and my self is a lot better with less traffic, and less stress.
With the money saved I’ve been investing it in Advertising “Facebook, POF” and my income is growing.
I literally want to create a program educating Affiliate to their true power they have “Flexibility of location” The ability to live in cheap, tropical environments with bad job market.
I did a Google search on the cheapest places in American, and you can find places in the lower start with and average temp of 70F degree with houses costing less then $150,000 dollars. Compared to DC, NY, LA, Montreal etc, that’s half the price, plus you get more land and less stress.
